During the XIX century, there were a number of guitarists who have gone virtually unnoticed in the history of the guitar. They starred in a time of great popularity that the instrument reached in the middle of that century, but soon after they fell into a greatly unmerited and undeserved oblivion. Music that perhaps feels comfortable in the refuge of its “dark corner” waiting for someone with the sensitivity of Carlos Pérez to shed light on it once more.
