Nola hip hop artist DOON had a busy 2016. He released his debut album, The Wax Museum, and was featured on 3 Zips with hiphop heavyweight Future. Before DOON could officially drop Shot Callerz, NOLA radio station Power 102.9's DJ G-Cue had already dropped the song in the 6pm traffic mix, solidifying its status as an instant BANGER. Soon after Greg Street of Atlanta's V103.3 also played the song. The collaboration between hit making producer BL$$D x DOON has resulted in a complete project, scheduled to drop at the end of 2017/early 2018.
