Michael Withrow aka King Cydal was born and raise in Menlo Park California, where he began his rap career at the age of 16. Within the next year he began his long journey as as rap artist/producer by working on his first rap album titled "Ya Blocks Host". The youngest of 4 children King Cydal is following in the footsteps of his older brother Andre "Mainsqueeze" Withrow aka Cool Breeze as a successful Rapper/CEO and important player in the Bay Area Rap Industry.

While working on this first album, King cydal managed to produce the radio hit "Turf To Da Club" with Ya Boy who is currently affiliated with The Game's Black Wallstreet record label. King Cydal is also known as an active producer for some of the Bay Area's hottest rappers such as San Quinn, Big Rich, Ya Boy, Mistah F.A.B., Bailey, star studded and others. King Cydal has also been featured on local television networks such as Xplosive Magazine, stash Magazine, Ruckus Magazine, Murderdog Magazine and Boss Status. By all means, Blockmade Records is already on its way to achieving its "Major" goal.
