When Christ was born the angels came down to celebrate with ordinary people on earth. At no other time has there such a beautiful mingling of the earthly and the heavenly. This is a collection of carols featuring those magical Christmas angels, celebrating with the rest of us. The songs are in English, German, Gaelic and Latin and span eight centuries. All feature the crystalline soprano of Katie McMahon, the original lead singer from the Riverdance show and are arranged for voices, strings and percussion.
