In his own words: "In the past decennium I have often marvelled at the countries I have visited. As a boy learning the guitar, I never could have dreamed that this little wooden box of wonders would take me around the globe and back again before the age of 30. Broken light on Japanese cliffs, an open starry sky in a French lavender field, Latin American danses of joy and nostalgia, the birth of a little prince, ice palaces in Russia, a lost dream, Canadian northern lights, a Scottish island made of air and sundown over a Maya temple in Mexico... Wit, in English, means intelligence or cleverness, while in my language, Dutch, it simply means white.
