Kathy Knittel sings songs that touch her heart and delivers them with purity, ease and craftsmanship. Her voice connects to the listener on a most honest and poignant level. Her recent recordings are stripped down acoustic renditions accompanied only by piano or guitar except for the recording of Diamonds and Rust where she strums herself, joining the pianist . On Landslide she is accompanied by the fine guitar work of Joe Bilotti, whom she has been collaborating with in the "Heart of Gold Band", a classic rock ensemble of great merit. Special thanks to Robert Melosh from R.E.M. Studios who mixed and mastered the music on this project. Her pianist and main collaborator, Joan Bujacich, was instrumental in the production of the music as well as designing the art work for the cover. This single is part of an album entitled "Acoustic Muses".
