Danny P is a Scottish producer / songwriter. Danny has teamed up with Scottish vocalist Toni Etherson who features on this track. Toni, who has collaborated with hit songwriter Steven Malcomson (Lemar, Kylie Minogue, Ellie Golding) and Stephen Lyndsey (The Big Dish) said “I am really excited to have the opportunity to work with Danny. The type of music we have produced is very current and very soulful”. Internet sensation Toni, recently went viral with her cover of the Oasis song “Don’t Look Back in Anger” with 275,000 hits in one day and, is riding on the success of her own debut single “Turn Back to Love”, which features Danny on guitar. Danny has also been collaborating with another Scottish rising star Si Si Rae. Si Si released her debut single “Freak” last year which saw her shortlisted by MTV for best new emerging act. Si Si who performed for “Celebrate the MOBO’s” in Glasgow, recently received a letter of congratulations from Scottish Culture Secretary Fiona Hyslop on her success so far. Danny who produced Si Si Rae’s second single “I Am”, due for release in the spring, said “It’s really exciting to be working with such established acts for my first album. I am looking forward to performing the tracks live with Toni and Si Si over the summer, during the club tour we have planned”. Danny who studied Music Technology and Sound Production and graduated alongside Paolo Nutini, not only produces his own music from his home studio, but also directs his own music video.
