This was a class assignment I did on my song: An excellent example of the type of music I would like to create is just like the music I have created over my years of rapping and producing. Rock – Money Dendie, is a song I created in the past and had the opportunity to have it linked within Spotify. The instrumentation I hear used in the song are claps, a piano, a snare, a drum, a vocal shout, and a tambourine. It starts with the piano playing and then you hear the claps come in right before you can hear a snare a bass kick in, forming an intro for the form of the song. The piano, the claps, the snare, and bass continue to play for about :30 seconds until you hear the tambourine kick in with everything else stopping but the snare, forming a verse, a bridge, and a chorus. After that, you hear the vocal shout kick in with all of the previous used instruments, to form another verse and a bridge. By 1:50 you have reached the second chorus and the instrumentation then has every instrument playing but you hear the tambourine, the snare, and the vocal shout louder than the drum, claps, and piano, as they are playing in the background forming a third bridge and an outro closing the song at 2:09. As far as the production goes, you can hear background vocals during the duration of the song. I’m a hip hop artist and I mostly create urban style music but all genres interest me.
