In the 80's and 90's, MARC STOWE formed two of Atlanta's most popular bands: Heathen Girls and Face of Concern. In the mid-90's he released his solo album "Get Off the Cross We Need the Wood" to critical acclaim. Now based in Nashville, Marc was leader of party/dance/pop outfit THE MARY NAILS. "Kiss July Goodbye" is the first solo release from Marc in over 15 years. "I had the chorus of this song in my head for years," Marc explains, "but wasn't able to finish the song until a good friend's partner of 23 years just - out of the blue - left the relationship. My friend is very happy with the sentiment and the song." Marc produced this track with a nod to one of his best influences - 70's glam rock - with massive handclaps, acoustic and electric guitars and doubled vocals. "This was a fun song to put together," Marc remarks. "I certainly hope my friends like it......." Look for future single releases from Marc as well as his productions with Dawn Freeman and new "the mary nails" tracks.
