Une voix, une guitare, une contrebasse et des chansons telles qu’on n’en avait pas entendu depuis longtemps. Des mélodi es au service de textes autant personnels que touchant. « Une envie de revenir aux premières amours » tel qu’il le décrit lui-même citant Cat Stevens, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Roxette ou encore Brad Paisley. On se laisse emporter par « Stand by my side » qui nous touche en plein coeur, tout autant que par le « Salamander song » aux accents country. On y retrouve aussi une toute nouvelle version de « It’s crazy », sa fameuse balade pop-soul qui n’est pas sans nous rappeler un certain Lionel Ritchie. Enfin « F.A.N.NY. », titre dédié à la muse de l’album qui marquera sans aucun doute les esprits.
