Born in St. Catherines, Jamaica and named Roylan Wynter by his father. He migrated to Toronto, Canada with his aunt before he was barely 2 years old. Growing up on the west side of the city(What Leo also refers to as "The Other~Side") Leo encountered many hardships and obstacles in the difficult streets of Rexdale, Ontario. Raised by his aunt and her spouse in an old fashioned environment he became knowledgeable to many musical oldies and classics. Growing up he heard the classics from the golden age. Songs from Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and even older tunes from Nat King Cole inspired Leo's soulful but yet still aggressive approach to his music. One of his biggest influences in hip hop adventure has been J Cole. The 1st hip hop mixtape he ever played was "The Come Up" by J Cole. As time passed and his passion for music grew he couldn't avoid the urge to imitate the tones he heard on the radio and on legendary albums. Eventually later into his teenage years he made the transition into being multi talented with the capability to carry Michael Jackson esk notes and rap a mean verse when the moment calls for it. Now a young man, Leo ~ Noirr has his eyes set on being one of Toronto's most established voices.
