In fact, it was playing songs between rides that led these long-time friends to unite their varied experiences in previous bands as The Midnight Choir. Though the members have spent years apart the band’s identity is firmly rooted in Idaho where Graham, CJ and Luke grew up together developing a repertoire of timeless stories that form the backbone of their music today. California is simply a pit-stop for the band - a good place to rehearse and the place where they were able to pick up JT and his house of organs. The Midnight Choir is fronted by Graham Snyder’s aggressive acoustic guitar and hard driving, punk infused vocals. With influences like Steve Earle, The Band, Springsteen and Ramblin’ Jack Elliot, their music delivers soulful and virtuous overtones that capture a true sense of Americana. The band embraces familiar elements of folk, country and rock music, but maintains a deep attraction to the exotic.
