Death of the Ego was a result Of Jay Indigo (engineer, and all around musician) and Jo Indigo (vocalist) meeting and sharing musical ideas. The project started almost accidentally. The two founding members began recording in the late winter months of 2014 and had a full 17 song album by April of 2015. The lyrical content focuses on telling the story of a society overrun by greed and hatred, while the music has a chill, smooth, moving, and sometimes eerie sound.
