Tyrone Darnell Elder, now know as Tyro "The Epic" was born September 8, 1986 in Dallas, Tx his stage name came from an influence to start a new begining the word "TYRO" itself means a beginner, and the word "EPIC" means something big and beyond the norm. Together it reflects being a beginning of something BIG, also being a begining of each day that's given to him and making the best of those days. But like most people there was a begining chapter of his life that led him to who he is today. Tyro was born to a mother and father who were married and the time they also had a older son 2 years born before him, they settled in South Dallas in a home that was build by both his mother and father. Between the age of birth and 7yrs old his mother and father worked in downtown Dallas, his father had a Music Shop in the early 90's and his mother was a customer service rep at Belo Inc. His father was into music himself being in a band and played multiple instruments were Tyro became influenced by the love music. His mother and father devorced because of abuse often from his father and that's when the Fear entered to him as a young boy. Tyro love for women started after his mother one day told him and his brother to never treat a woman how they saw she was treated. His mother decided to move to Oak Cliff and start over with him and his brother. Tyro always loved music and even as a young boy he would write poems to himself but really decided to pursue it when one of his friends approached him in starting a rap group by the name of "CLIFF STARZ". And as time passed he experienced a lot of trails and tribulations which he was lead to Jesus Christ in 2008. He then was determined to find out what he was called to be and to do and music became the answer to his calling in 2010 he started to do his own music and in the process of starting his own record label called Faith Over Fear Productions and the best is yet to come!
