In these times of reality TV shows producing some mediocre voices, here comes a fresh young artist whose every word speaks the truth of life and love. Adonye Green is not only a singer/songwriter but a musician. Playing various musical instruments including the guitar and keyboard, he is a force to be reckoned with. Based in London, he has the Soul and Vocal technique of a 60’s Soul/Jazz Artists. He’s influences vary from Donny Hathaway to Duke Ellington to Prince; this U.K Jazz and Soul artist is here to take the music scene to a new level, where it belongs. He has worked as a backing singer and also shared the stage with Madonna, Beverley Knight, Mica Paris, Mariah Carey, Daniel Beddingfield, L.C.G.C (London Community Gospel Choir), Tonex, and many more too numerous to mention. Also performing as one of the in-house backing vocalists for ITV’s X-factor. He released he’s debut E.P in the summer of 2006 titled Music & Life that sold out within 2 months of its release. His first single ‘MOTHERS’ SONS’ was hailed as a ground breaking single and was voted number one most requested video on R’ MUSIC’ channel. It also won the Hugo Urban Rules MySpace voting competition and got radio play on the U.K’s largest urban chat show Fresh 40 on KISS fm. He has returned with some new material that shows growth on a whole new level. ‘My Arms’ is his new single to be released in April, a deep soul/jazz song about lost loved sand with silky vocals can take anyone away into another world and evoke brand new emotions. It is his first single from his upcoming album titled ‘Bread & Water’.
