MIDWESS RELEASES HIS "NUMBER 2" ALBUM Native East St. Louisan Releases 2nd CD World-Wide MAY 6, 2006 (CHICAGO, ILLINOIS) -- midWess and Krazy House Productions announce the release of the eagerly anticipated new album, "TALKIN' SH*T," which comes only 18 months after his debut album, "EAST SIDE WESS." The new album, "TALKIN' SH*T", was released on Tuesday, June 20, 2006, and is being distributed independently by the artists. The album will be sold online at CDBaby, Tower Records, Best Buy, ITunes, Rhapsody, and several other online music sites, as well as select stores throughout the midwest. "TALKIN' SH*T" features 23 hard-hitting, trunk-banging tracks that are sure to grab the attention of music lovers. midWess re-introduces the art of "story-telling" in such songs as, "Teasin' " and "Back In The Days." "I like to illustrate real life situations so that the listener can actually visualize what I'm saying... Its like creating a story or video with only words." In his music, midWess pours his soul into every track. "Most of what you hear in my music reflects my life and my experiences. Whether it be the racism I encountered in the military, or just remembering life growing up in East Saint. It's all me." The 23 track line-up consists of a wide spectrum of songs. midWess literally takes you on an emotional roller coaster. "A lot of people consider my music to be "gangster rap," but I don't like to put myself in a category. I just do music from my soul. If you buy it, you can call it what you want to." midWess has made a name for himself in the underground rap scene over the past several years. In 1999, he was featured on "Underground D**e From the D" as a member of the rap group DUI. Since then, midWess has catapulted himself into the independent and underground circuits as a solo artist and producer. Performing at open mic shows and headlining local concerts at venues throughout Illinois, midWess is definitely making a name for himself. In 2002, he started his own production company, Krazy House Productions. He now produces and records artists all over the state of Illinois. With an exceptional catalog of written and recorded music, midWess is releasing his second solo project only a year after his debut.
