I am grateful to have been so warmly received by Will Ackerman, Grammy Award Winning Producer and founder of Windham Hill Records. His involvement as producer was the catalyst to making a truly artistic record. It all took place at his magical Imaginary Road Studios in Vermont. Engineer Tom Eaton co-produced, mixed and mastered this album with the utmost skill and precision. The Steinway B in the studio has incredible sound and resonance, a truly unique instrument. Playing this piano was a fantastic experience. It really brought my compositions to life. I am joined on a few of these pieces by some extraordinary musicians. Eugene Friesen on Cello, Jill Haley on English Horn, Paul Kochanski on Bass, and Tom Eaton on Percussion. Their great instrumental voices create such a rich contemporary “chamber music" sound that greatly enhances this primarily solo piano recording.
