The music of 7th Sun is inspired by edgier blues rock of bands such as the Rolling Stones, Allman Bros. and the Black Crowes. The rhythm section of Ronnie Bidle (drums) and Ed Swiger (bass) anchors a diverse set of songs that span hard rock, blues, funk and experimental jamming. Within the sonic layering of electric guitar and keyboard, the Bass guitar shines with soulful articulation and funky grooves. The drumming on songs like Find Me & Digital Flurry is hard driving and danceable at the same time. On Lead Vocals and Guitar, Eric Partyka covers both love and political ground within this five song compilation. Songs like Find Me, Metal Bars and Plan to Leave tell a personal story of loss and redemption. Digital Flurry and Muddy River are strong commentaries on society's obsession with consumption, constant commercialization and war. Rounding out the sound is Pat 'Candy Crush' Crist of Spynee Norman fame, on Keyboards.
