"Everything is Alive" is Eileen & the In-Betweens second full-length album. The album features a number of Albuquerque’s most celebrated musicians and vocalists, such as world beat legends Wagogo, Christy Cook and Stephanie Graner (Cactus Tractor, Albuquerque Boys Choir), Dave Holtkamp (Let it Grow), Colin Baillio (Brush Strokes) and Seth Hoffman. The album moves through genres with eclectic influences in folk, dance, indie, alt-country, and pop music. The songs cover personal themes of love and healing as well as more political themes pertinent to the Southwest such as nuclear destruction, water issues, and climate change. Right from the beginning, with the uplifting and catchy title track “Everything is Alive,” the listener can hear that this is an album full of passion and heart.
