Moodtapes (a registered trademark) are a series of videos and audio collectibles (CD & DVD) produced and directed by award winning producer and director Ron Roy. They were some of the first of the Adult Contemporary genre in the 1980s and 1990s along with Windham Hill and Narada Productions. They include original instrumental music by Ron Roy and various other professional composers. Sixteen videos and eight audio CD's were released in the original Moodtapes series from 1986 to 2011 and were featured on Entertainment Tonight, The Oprah Winfrey Show, People Magazine, USA Today and many others. Moodtapes original music has been featured coast to coast on national radio stations and syndicates such as The Wave and Musical Starstreams. Various Moodtapes albums and singles have charted in the National Top Twenty on major music charts. New Original Moodtapes music includes a rockin' upbeat instrumental tribute to Christmas - Sizzlin' Christmas. Ron Roy has also expanded the label to include Crossover Country Rock by recently releasing "You'll Never Ever Be Alone At Christmas", "Now It's All Just Stuff", "Bible Belted" and "You Could Hear The Sound of Panties Drop".
