长笛公主与动画 The Animated Flute 聆听悠扬宛转的隽永乐声 重游童年回忆里向往的梦幻国度 Eleven of the Most Beautiful Songs from Classic Animation Arranged for Flute and Chamber Ensemble 如果在静谧的夜，仰望漫天的星，是否偶然还会记起，那些孩童时代天真烂漫的幻想？是想象自己手持一根可以任意伸缩的金箍棒，还是捧着一盏能够开天辟地、法力无边的宝莲灯。是化身为小美人鱼，潜入瑰丽的海底世界，同各色各样的海洋生物一起尽情的嬉戏；还是装扮成替父从军的花木兰，佩戴宝剑，骑着骏马奔驰在疆场上。是搭乘着轻快的滑翔机，向着灯火闪烁的地平线飞翔，找寻那座神秘的天空之城；或是坐上奇妙的龙猫巴士，在澄净的月色下，翻越山丘，穿过辽远的田野和村庄。 一个个纯洁而美好的梦想，来自于一幕幕五彩斑斓的动画电影，点缀着人生最初的悠远记忆，传递真挚的爱与勇气。而那些伴随着温暖而绚烂的动画影像出现的，或是洋溢着清新明朗的快乐，或是流露着回肠荡气的深情的主题音乐，则在童年的回忆中，替我们开启梦境的门扉，将我们引入奇幻世界中尽情嬉戏。跟随典雅古朴的《九色鹿》，穿行在敦煌壁画的瑰丽长卷中，见证惩恶扬善的民间传奇。在莽莽苍苍的林海中，邂逅一位沉静唯美的《幽灵公主》，找寻与天地共生的神秘精灵。在被仙女的魔咒笼罩的奇幻城堡中，拜访终成眷属的《美女与野兽》，领略经久不衰的浪漫童话故事。 为了唤醒那些深藏于心底的彩色梦境，重温那些在荏苒时光中隽永难忘的奇幻故事和童话传说，此次我们选择了世界上古老的乐器。长笛，作为主奏乐器，演绎来自中、美、日三国的经典动画主题音乐。优美抒情的长笛，在钢琴、大提琴、圆号、吉他等多种乐器伴奏下，如同仙女的魔杖一般，点亮深藏于心底的童年回忆。悠扬宛转的乐声，仿佛令人回到那些与纯真幻想相伴的美好岁月中，仿佛还相信自己胸怀勇气，可以乘风破浪，前往无止尽的远方。 在本张专辑中担任长笛独奏的，是旅美演奏家，被誉为“长笛公主”的刘雨婷。出生于北京，求学于美国的她，已获印第安那大学Jacobs音乐学院硕士学位，目前在中国、欧洲和北美都举办过多次音乐会，并发行了两张个人专辑。中美文化交融的个人成长历程，使她希望通过演绎这些亲切如友的中外动画经典配乐，回望那些难忘难舍的纯挚岁月。在洛杉矶的录制现场，手持铂金长笛的她，如同一位从迪士尼动画电影中走出的公主，施展着温暖绚烂的音乐魔法，令怀旧的旋律重焕新彩。美国作曲家Josh Nelson，，近年来应制作人叶云川之邀，参与了瑞鸣音乐出品的《星空》、《时光倒流七十年》等专辑的创作。此次制作人邀请他以及跨界乐团，将这些风格多变的经典乐曲，演绎得诗意盎然，令人浮想联翩。 在璀璨的夜空下，再次聆听那承载着美好回忆的动人乐声，仿佛重逢一位相伴度过幼年时光的挚友，共同前往奇妙的魔幻世界，找寻在人生路途中遗落的童心。对划过天幕的流星，许下赤诚的心愿，重拾勇气与梦想，再次向着远方，演绎属于自己的传奇故事。 Foreword: When you look up at the stars, do you still sometimes remember those innocent dreams of childhood? Imagine holding a golden hoop that can grow or shrink to any size, or a magic lamp that can grant your wishes? Did you dream of what it would be like to be transformed into a little mermaid, diving into the magnificent underwater kingdom, or dressing up as a brave young warrior, eager to show filial love for their family, wearing their father’s sword and galloping off to the frontier on a beautiful battle horse! Did you dream of flying away towards the glittering horizon and journey to a mysterious sky city; or take a ride the happy-spooky moonlit ride on the Totoro bus over the hills and across the fields? Perhaps more than any other medium, the colorful world of animation has inspired countless dreams of beauty, heroism,  and has embedded itself in unforgettable memories. As gorgeous or silly as those animated stories may be, they were brought to life through music. In fact, music is more than an equal partner with the images on the screen, they brought the fantasy to life with some of the most memorable melodies ever written. As we stroll down memory lane, we revisit the elegant and simple folk morality tale of “The Nine-Colored Deer,” a Chinese animation inspired by the magnificent scrolls of Dunhuang frescoes . A little further on, in a mysterious forest, we meet the fierce and beautiful “Princess Mononoke,” torn between the gods of nature and the progress of man. Of course, no animated journey would be complete without an enchanted castle or two, and so we visit one of our favorite fairy tales, “Beauty and the Beast”. Each of the films and their songs have become to us as familiar as family members that we return to time after time to be swept up in these fairy tale romances. To bring these colorful dreams of “long, long ago” and “far, far away” back to life we have chosen the oldest known musical instrument in the world, the flute, as the main instrument. Every culture has a drum and every nation has a flute, and for new journeys, we will explore classic anime-themed music from China, the United States, and Japan. The beautiful, bright sound of the flute, accompanied by an intimate ensemble of piano, cello, French horn and guitar, is like a magic wand, lighting the way through our childhood memories. The sound of this melodic music unfailingly spirits people back to those innocent, carefree times. It seems that all it takes is to close your eyes, listen, and make a wish upon a star… Yuting Liu, known as the “Princess of the Flute,” is our flute soloist. She was born in Beijing, China and studied in the United States. She has a master's degree from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. She performs widely in China, Europe and North America, and has released two solo albums. Yuting blends Chinese and American culture as well as the nostalgia of her childhood. She has an inspired and  personal interpretation of these beloved Chinese and foreign animation classic soundtracks. While recording this album in Los Angeles, she wielded her golden flute like a princess straight out of an animated Disney movie. LA-based composer Josh Nelson, who also collaborated with producer Ye Yunchuan on the Rhymoi Music albums “Starry Sky” and “Somewhere in Time,” also wrote the very special arrangements for Ms. Liu. Together, this multi-culti ensemble of world-class artists brings each song to life in a poetic and imaginative way. While listening to these beautiful songs under the starry night sky, each carries so many memories, it is almost as if we are reunited with long lost childhood friends.
