I first want and have to thank God for allowing me to do what I am loving to do. God, friends, and family have always been here to support me through the thick, thin, and thicker. Music has been a huge part of my life since day one. Being inspired by other artists has helped shape my music to what it is today. Through my events in life-my life and music felt to grow. I'm happy and grateful to be writing and living. In my album it mainly describes the attitude of, "keeping your chin up" and, "keeping faith" I live off lines like that. In my song "Balcony" the lyrics seem depressing when you hear, I jumped off my balcony" but what is really meant through my words is treating my balcony as if a meditation. A thought. When i relax or sit and think, i think of dreams, emotions, and/or solutions. In the song I'm acting like I jumped off my problems. I moved from them. I kept it moving. The woman you hear in this song, Tammy Trinh, you hear her amazing harmonies. She wrote the harmonies. This song and album again resembles optimism. I hope it shows. Thanks again for everything.
