Rolf Zielke - piano / keys / whistling Peter Weniger - soprano saxophone Guilherme Castro - bass / cavaquinho Rolo Rodriguez - drums / percussion On tour in Azerbaijan I was very impressed by the continuously blazing fire found on the hillside on the Absheron Peninsula on the Caspian Sea near Baku: "Yanar Dag - Burning Mountain" Colorful flames were coming directly out of the ground, some of them head high, interacting with each other spontaneously and with great intensity. Just beautiful! This inspired me to create the concept and the compositions of this record.
