Arkana spans back to 2000, but after several original members left in 2004, the band changed its name (officially) and began experimenting with with lineup and sound. Arkana released a live demo in 2004 and began marketing themselves to a worldwide audience in 2005. They recorded their first studio demo in 2006 and started work on their first album in 2007. After two years of production and post-production, Arkana's first album will be released on Friday, November 13th, 2009.
