Their songs often have a story-like quality that evokes wonderful imagery for the listener. If you take time to listen to the lyrics you will find that sometimes the songs are just straight forward great songs, often playful and humorous, while others can be quite dark and even thought provoking. Yes, they write about love but they also write about hate and real issues that affect many people in their everyday lives. With lyrics that are meant to be listened to, the calibre of the music they are set to needs to be of the same high standard, and it is. Though the lyrics dance and weave with the music, the tunes themselves help carry the story or message along and do not detract or break the mood when a solo is played. Whilst this is a fair narrative of Rant ‘n’ Rave’s music, and one could continue describing them in this fashion, they really just produce great songs set to great music.
