TRACK 1 - Following the success of his first EP on Totally Ardcore, Gav G-Style returns to the label, this time bringing you the uplifting vocal track U & I. This track begins with a quirky break-beat intro that quickly progresses into a truly epic first breakdown. Euphoric pads are combined with haunting vocals and harmonies to create a genuine feeling of awe, and this section really endeavors to get those hairs on your arms standing on end! Using a trance style lead, the track builds well into the first drop which if full of energy and has a driving and varying bass-line. Two more subtle vocal breakdowns proceed, again flowing back into the main lead before the track plays out. TRACK 2 - J.K.O makes his debut appearance on Totally Ardcore Records with Crank - a well produced track which verges on the freeform edge of hardcore. It begins with a pumping bass-line and rolling flanger, and introduces the crank it up vocal sample, which continues to reappear at various intervals throughout the remainder track. The first breakdown creates a real feeling of euphoria and is guaranteed to get the crowd rushing. Drum rolls and distorted vocals build it up into the first drop, and the go sample sets the pace for the main lead to kick in. The second breakdown has a more shimmery feel, incorporating an electric guitar whine, which flows back into the main lead, kick and bass. The catchy riff sees lots of subtle changes throughout track as it progresses, really mixing it up. If you are a freeform fan then this is definitely one for you! TRACK 3 - DJ Skoobi has his first release on Totally Ardcore with his own version of a dance-floor slammer. The kick and high hat intro lead nicely into a punchy saw bassline, which samples elements from main lead. A powerful breakdown showcases the well-known and much loved main riff.. This section is full of drive and energy with a harder sounding feel, and is followed by second breakdown has a glitchy element to it, putting a real spin on the track. Claps are added to build it up to the second drop, where a new twist on the melody is revealed.
