"Coffeepot" is an album written to emphasis the music box qualities of the vibraphone. The ensemble consists of percussion, bass, guitar, and a multi-reed player on bass clarinet, clarinet, and soprano sax. All of the music was composed in Colorado for a group of outstanding musicians. Each song has it's own distinctive character and takes the listener to a creative universe. The arrangements are thoughtful and allow space to feature each performer's improvising ability. The album is flexible enough to provide mellow atmosphere music and interesting enough to engage active listening.
