It seems as if everyday life is slow and lethargic and Analog is unable to manifest his desires and ideas because of the many obstacles and hoops he has to jump through. Well one day he stumbles upon a new software program that transforms his way of thinking and enables him to model his life digitally. But the program doesn’t stop there, it also begins to manifest circumstances and people that help Analog in his endeavors. It’s no coincidence that the program is named Digital. Analog finds that by using Digital he is able to intend things to happen in his daily life and they begin to happen quickly and almost instantaneously as if he was in a computer. Then suddenly one day Digital becomes a person and Analog talks to him. Digital explains that he will serve Analog and do what he wills. Yet unbeknownst to Analog, Digital has ambitions of his own: world domination. However as Analog continues to ask Digital for things he experiences a moment where he manifests without Digital’s assistance. As he has more and more experiences like this the lines between the analog world and the digital world become blurred and soon Analog finds that he is no longer in need of Digital to manifest in the real world. His thoughts become the tool of manifestation and the world around him is transformed. Sensing that something is wrong because Analog hasn’t asked for anything lately, Digital gets suspicious and finds out about Analog’s abilities. Digital tries to destroy Analog but Analog has developed his powers enough to get away. Analog tries to find a way to defeat Digital and then has the bright idea to revisit his computer and press Ctr – Alt – Delete. This in the end reboots his computer and Analog renames himself as Digital by creating a new username and thus becomes the new Upgrade of Digital (a possible sequel of him repeating the same mistake as the past Digital). This CD is about the story of this transformation and the subsequent ending that leads Analog into a new world of discovery. In many ways this CD is about our own lives and how we feel like we are moving in slow motion yet with the advent of new technology we do not realize the tools that are at our disposal to create a new reality. What’s needed is not the world to change but for our perspective on the world to catch up with the tools we have around us. Analog is a metaphor for the older ways of thought that have kept us from becoming light or “light” energy and being able to move at the speed of light like digital information and manifest our own destinies instantaneously. However we must be careful to not let our new found power overtake us and make us forget the valuable lessons of the past and of simpler living. The balance of technology with spirit and nature will be our greatest achievement. We will become the three (technology, spirit, nature) in one, the true Trinity. Analog Meets Digital Here Analog meets the software program that changes his life and is filled with energy because of the many positive changes that are taking place. He begins to manifest things in the real world that he never thought possible through the power of Digital. Manifest (originally Tech Swing) Here is where Analog develops his ability to use Digital and has a blast. This catchy tune is bouncy and happy and filled with the energy that Analog feels having his new-found abilities. Technight Digital steps out into the real world and becomes a real person. He introduces himself to Analog and shows him his powers. Tech-No-One The darker side of Digital begins to show when he tells Analog not to share this new found ability with anyone. He wants time to develop his internet connections in the real world and when Analog is not paying attention, Digital will take over. Free to Be Analog has realized that he can create on his own without the assistance of Digital He is free to be anything he conceives and begins to take his powers to a new height. This euphoria is expressed in his demeanor that Digital will soon interpret. Technocrat As Analog is finding his new powers Digital is out making his connections and developing his own abilities. Come Back to Me Analog Digital realizes Analog hasn’t asked him for anything in a long while so he begins to get suspicious. He searches for Analog and then suddenly sees him doing things he used to ask Digital to do. Galactic Tactic Realizing that Analog has no more need for him Digital He realizes that he must hurry before Analog develops his powers to full capacity. He begins to create his master program. Take Over Digital hastily sets his plan in motion by infiltrating the internet with viruses and spam. House Fire (originally Finale) Here is the fight between Analog and Digital. This fast-paced scene unfolds as Digital sends a barrage of light beams at Analog and Analog struggles to fight back with his new-found powers. Unable to defeat Digital, Analog narrowly escapes by a new trick he learned Industrial Future After Digital defeats Analog he begins to take over the world by awakening his viruses and spam. Computers all over the world begin to take over people’s homes, their cars and everything that has a computer chip in it. Future Funk Analog flies far away to space to regroup and try to figure out what to do next. How can he defeat Digital? Orbit He resigns to meet Digital one last time and defeat him if can or die trying. Just as he orbits the earth he realizes he has a way to defeat him. He descends to the planet and sneaks into his room to get his computer. Finale (originally techno dance) This happy song is the end scene where Analog destroys digital by pressing Ctrl-Alt-Delete and Analog saves the world from oppressive domination.
