简介
Coming off of the success of "The Sevilles" in 2006, The Sevilles went back into the studio in mid 2007 to begin recording a follow-up. Having devoted all of their efforts on touring to support the initial CD, they hadn't even prepared all of the songs that would later be on the forthcoming album. But without delay the remaining songs to be written were completed and the studio experience was complete. And after the wait, the end result is a more refined, edgier rocking sound that is sure to impress. Old fans won't be disappointed by familiar sounding tracks like "Headlights" and "I Don't Believe You" while newcomers and fans alike will enjoy the more guitar-solo laden hits like "Dog on the Loose" and "8 Ball." And with the pop sensibilities of songs like "Here Kitty Kitty" and "Busted", there is certainly something for everyone on this album. In a time when most modern rock gets progressively more introverted, "Ridin' the 8 Ball Home" is an album that hearkens back to the "Sex, Drugs, and Rock and Roll" of AC/DC and Van Halen, returning listeners to a simpler time in Rock, when everything could be solved by a whiskey in one hand and a stripper in the other.
