Propaganja was started after the band H-Town Flops parted ways with former singer/guitarist in April of 2010. Remaining band members were determined to continue on. Bassist Ricky Aguirre (AKA Tricky) brought in friend David Burns (AKA Burnz) to audition for the band as the singer. After the first audition it was decided to look no further. While working on their first song together (Smoke N’ Fire), friend Raul Lopez was hanging out as usual. He picked up a spare mic that happened to be hooked up to the P.A. and threw in a rap as one of the verses. The band liked the way it sounded and asked Raul to join the band. That’s how Propaganja got the unique sound of Reggae/Rock/Rap. The band has been performing for nearly three years now. Doing shows in The Imperial Valley, San Diego, Palm Desert, Hollywood, Long Beach, and Los Angeles areas. The band members consist of Ricky Aguirre (AKA Tricky) on Bass, David Burns (AKA Burnz) on vocals, Raul Lopez on the rap, Travis Singh and Bryan Gonzalez on guitars, and Gustavo Ibarra (AKA Goose) on the drums. All the band members are from small towns throughout the Imperial Valley in California. The band is currently unsigned, but determined to have a blow out year in 2013. They’ve been working very hard on their music, videos and performances. They are looking forward to being signed, cutting a record deal and getting out on the road to spread their music to the Ganja Nation.
