Bigger And Brighter celebrates 11 brand new self-penned songs, along with a bonus secret hidden track. Bigger And Brighter is an album full of rich textures from hip bass lines and grooving drum tracks to emotional guitar and Courtney’s melodic voice, with songs making attention of alternative and rock radio. With the emphasis on exploring sounds and pushing the envelope sonically, Courtney’s willingness to experiment is present, combining songs that draw from a wealth of sources but creating what is truly her own. As an independent artist Chambers’ was able to take these production risks making Bigger And Brighter a definitive departure from her previous albums “Imperfect Like Me” (01) and “Higher Places” (04). Recorded in LA, Courtney enlisted the help of Sean Hoffman (American Music Club, Bedroom Walls) to produce her next endeavor. With Jeff Hawley on bass and Mel Flores on drums and percussion, they laid down the perfect groove foundation to get busy layering the songs. Sean tackled the guitar nuances, string/horn arrangements and any other interesting sounds he could conjure up on his MC505, while Courtney arranged all vocal lines, lead guitars, piano parts and Rhodes as well as bringing a couple others to play sax, flute and piano.
