From the far reaches of northern NH, buRne consists of : Antly – Throat (soulful, melodic vocals with diverse range) Chris Burke – Strings (intricate, flowing, captivating guitar work) Ryan (the bus) Carrier – Sticks (Solid, consistent, technical percussion) Jody (houligan) Houle – Fat strings (stylish, smooth and grooving bass lines) buRne is a grungy type rock band inspired by musicians consisting of (but not limited to) Alice in Chains, Metallica, Dave Matthews Band, Candlebox, and that dude who wrote the National Anthem... From “the great north woods”, buRne blends a mix of rock, classic rock, grunge, acoustic, blues, and metal. They are known for their unique original sound. They have performed @ Locofest 2007 at the Tweeter Center in Mansfield, MA, along with Dio/Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, Queensryche, Shadows Fall and many other upcoming acts. The lineup began in 2002 as a two man acoustic group playing shows for the love of the art.
