简介

Hello to anyone who is the least bit interested, Well I was Born and raised in Joliet Ill, My first band was an elementary school project named ""Middle Earth". We were on a local NBC TV show called "Kidding Around", And man i was hooked. The band evolved over the years. we changed our name to "the Yanks" and That's where I met our new lead singer Lisa Camp, (more about her later). We bought an old school bus, and drove around Illinois playing high school dances and bars. Soon after high school, I joined the Chicago band "The All Night News Boys" to play drums and sing. The Boys gigged full-time, from local bars to 27 states, We opened up for acts like The Fabulous Thunderbirds and Survivor. One night on the Landing in St Louis I played "Rock And Roll Hoochie Koo" with Rick Derringer. During this time, I was working with a lot of bands and songwriting projects, and many involved singer/songwriter Lisa Camp. We cowrote a couple of songs for CBS and Arista, and the records went DOUBLE PLYWOOD. Our ultimate collaboration happened in 1998 when we finally got married. Today we have a 4 year old son, Dez James. Around 1990 I started doing session work. I got a job as a staff composer at the Chicago music house Com/Track Music. Since then, I've written about 700 commercial music tracks for clients like Coors Light (Tap the Rockies), McDonald's (Change Things Up), Coca-Cola, Disney, Bud Light, etc. In 1995 I released my first solo CD "Something to Believe In," produced by Danny Leake (Janet Jackson & Stevie Wonder). A few years later my partner Joel Raney and I built Catfish Music. It was at this studio that I recorded my 2nd CD "Bubba" with friend and collaborator Phil Miller (Sonia Dada), And "3". On this album I am joined by some more great musicians. Jon Brant and Bun E Carlos from Cheap Trick, Orbert Davis, and Cathy Richardson. "Dog Named Zero" is my newest CD. Check it out, I think it's my best.
