Rotax started back in 1996 founded by two dee jays in Lyon -france, Pascal Rioux and Teddy G mainly releasing their own production on the label. the first 12 inch was succesfull and rapidly sold out launching the rotax legend. From that time on, the label has an increasing reputation of making quality dance music that is mainly deep house with a strong soul & jazz feel Lately , rotax gained a larger audience with tracks released on many famous compilations including "night at the playboy mansion" by Dimitri from Paris, and "La Costes II" by Stephane Poupougnac . the rotax records are respected all over the world and from the greatest heroes of the international housescene and whenever you have a look in recordbags of Kerri Chandler , Master at work or Danni krivit , Dimitri from Paris , DJ Spinna ,you ll find not so much european productions.But the Rotax records are surely inside.
