"Empty Man" was written by Legendary Producer & Grammy Award Winner Rudy Perez & his son, Kristian Price Perez AKA Chris Price. After our first meeting and first songwriting session, Chris & I wrote 2 songs in about 3 hours from scratch. Rudy came out to listen and then told me he wrote a power pop ballad for me to sing! When I heard Rudy's version of the song, "Until You Came" (original song title), I said to myself how am I going to sing this song? I am used to singing raw Rock 'N' Roll! After the songs were complete on paper, I asked Chris what's next? Chris said I'd like to start recording now, since I am flying back to California (where Chris lives now) in 3 days! We laid down 'LIVE" acoustic guitar tracks for "YOU'LL NEVER KNOW" and "BEAT OF MY HEART", then we did about 5 comp tracks for each...we finished up around 9PM that day. I only received a Reference track of all 3 songs. I started listening and rehearsing my vocal parts...as you will hear with the help of Rudy's engineer, Andrew Bermudez we have some pretty awesome songs...I think listeners will agree....
