The Paragon project is a compilation album of songs created by The students at the Fort Hayes Metropolitan Education Center in Columbus, Ohio. The content of the album deals with many societal issues that are at the forefront of our national and international discourse. Topics such as youth violence, suicide, children of incarcerated parents are all explored here musically. Numerous genres of music are employed to artistically convey these messages, Spoken word, Neo Soul, Hip-Hop, Singer-Songwriter and Reggae are all represented here. The album also incorporates musicians from the schools' band program who accent production by members of the schools' faculty and guest artist in residence Giscard Xavier.
