Continuing the dedication to breaking new artists, SFS0008 showcases another relatively unknown entity that is Kuno, a young producer based out of Germany. “Reinhardt” takes its lead from a rollicking hand drum pattern before dropping into a four by four jackin’ template. From here on out, the essence of dub and the bounce of piano house invade the track, with shapeshifting pad washes riding high and a jovial Rhodes-like synth that picks it up for the steppers. While “Panoraa" combines a mutating bassline with washes of white noise and constantly evolving percussion interplay. This one is for dark rooms with big sound systems.
