While growing up in rural northwest Ohio in the 90's, Adam Reed like so many others from this era and area, became obsessed with skateboarding and a need to define himself as "different" from his immediate surroundings. Obsessed with skate-punk bands, but with a family background in classic singing styles and theater, Reed began a long musical journey that has led to now that is peppered with an awareness and love for many different types of expression and story telling. From metal to hip-hop, from hardcore punk to folk music, from indie-rock to classic jazz, from classic art to contemporary street-art and tattoo culture;

Shepherds & Sailors is inspired by many things in life, but primarily the ongoing duality that exists for everyone in the choice to stay in one place, versus traveling and adventuring. Regardless of whichever you choose, life happens, and S&S hopes to be a rich soundtrack to accompany you on this journey. Enjoy!
