To some Mitch Easter might be best known as the guy who produced R.E.M.'s classic album, "Murmur." To others he's best known as the front man for '80s new wave outfit Let's Active. The band's fruitful career included consistent touring and the release of four albums on IRS Records, one of which broke the Billboard Top 200. In addition to R.E.M. he's also produced albums for Helium, Ken Stringfellow (The Posies) and Velvet Crush, among others. The 90s saw Mitch's production work eclipsing his performing, but now he's back in action as a bandleader with new songs, new guitars and new energy. The resulting album, "Dynamico," is a collection of fourteen glittering gems with signature Mitch Easter sounds and playing.
