Gospel music is a catalyst to the Christian experience. It is a form of witnessing to the world, and it is a sustaining force of support to the believer. Traditionally, gospel music is performed and adored in the church setting to aide in the worship service as praise unto God, and preparation of the congregation to receive the Word of God. People like Mahalia Jackson, Albertina Walker and her caravans, Edwin Hawkins and his family, and all the gospel artists that have lifted the name of Jesus to the world, have carved gospel music's place in the world of music, and made it possible for the average gospel artist, like myself, to offer our inspirational gifts to the world as well. The sole purpose of my efforts in releasing gospel projects is to lift the name of Jesus where ever my music is heard, and watch God give the increase however he sees fit. It is truly not about us, but, it's all about Jesus.
