Marianis Rodriguez born September 8, 1986, commonly known simply as Mari. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, she was the third born child out of four siblings. Marianis was raised Christian and though she began singing at age four, she was officially taught to sing and to play the guitar at age seven by her mother. Marianis has spent half her life in Puerto Rico growing and learning the art and roots of music. As the years went on she ventured into the US, to Pennsylvania, where she learned about her new passion to help others in need (missions). She has had the opportunity to visit different countries, as well as, other parts of the US. During this period of her life, she learned to play other instruments, such as, piano and percussion among other instruments. Listed, are some of the projects she has worked on. Marianis has also been a part of 'Governing Worship' which is the local worship group at her home congregation while living in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
