California Formica Cowboys is a slight departure from PC & The Angels Of Death's first album. This album features excellent performance and production, as well as very catchy songs and interesting covers. Patrick Coleman mentioned in an interview for No Depression Magazine that Formica has a psycho neurotic vibe to it, due to the four year hiatus of an imploding group suffering from substance abuse to disappearing members. Some of the songs are earlier recordings with some of these members, but mostly a new group. This album has attracted the attention of a couple of promoters and a manager that intend to put the group on tour, thanks to increasing radio airplay.
