简介
Keeping true to the sounds and styles of the 1950's and early 1960's, Rodney and the Regulars have become a hold-fast for early country and even rock n roll music. Based out of the small rural town of Wakeman, Ohio, all members we're raised just 10 miles from each other, all with similar backgrounds and a great love for music. With a 12 song debut album, eleven originals and one old Johnny Horton tune, "Fresh American Made Brown Eggs" will please any music enthusiast. Rodney's songs, backed with a strong rhythm section, and a pedal steel out front, make for a unique, timeless ensemble. "Must Be Monday," a catchy tune with a little bite, takes you back to a time of uncertainty of the fairer sex. Packed so full with fast guitar pickin' and cold steel licks you'll catch your hips twistin'! "More to Life Than Livin'," kicking off with steel guitar, a true hillbilly stomp kind of song, was written out of own love lost situation and a battle finding ones self. Starting off the B side of the album, we have "Mustang Mamie," a western boogie run about a little gal and a little motorcycle. This is one of Rodney and the Regulars finest compositions, yielding solo trade offs between guitar, steel, and upright bass. "Since You've Gone Away" is the latest song on the album put together by the band and shows a bit different tempo and song writing texture. With modern day technology pushed aside, Rodney and the Regulars stepped into the Hi-Style recording studio in Chicago, IL to record this album live onto reel to reel tape. Their debut album "Fresh American Made Brown Eggs" looks to be a strong stepping stone for not only the future of the band, but for music lovers around the world.
