ACKNOWLEDGMENTS In the fall of 2010, I met Frank Novko, Mike Messitt, Tom and Bill Flynn, and John Hoffman at “Working Man’s Jam.” These gentlemen welcomed me, encouraged me, and gave me the time and confidence to put my shaking fingers back on the strings. He conceived the project and it was his musical vision, guitar work, and drive that made it all possible. The one who holds us all together is Bill Flynn, one of the most talented, clever people I have ever met, with an amazing ear and the ability to follow me while I am weaving around a tempo like a crazed squirrel.
