From 2014 - 2016 Plex spent the majority of his time collaborating with a collective of artists and producers called Divine Suns. Over that time Divine Suns have released three albums, respectively entitled "Chaos Theory", "inCOREporated" and "Conscious & Cadillac". All three Divine Suns albums can be found online at www.DivineSuns.bandcamp.com Divine Suns fourth album "Real Life Rap" is set to be released November 8th, 2016. In 2015 Plex also released an exclusive collaboration EP called "Atlanta To Manchester" with producer Dr. G from The United Kingdom. "Atlanta To Manchester" was 100% produced by Dr. G, it can be found in most digital retailers and on most music streaming platforms. Staying in the spirit of the previous collaboration efforts, Plex connected with his long time producer Charlie P and fellow Divine Suns emcee The Hunchpunch Champ to create "Black Suns". "Black Suns" is more edgy concept-wise than much of the stuff Plex did with Divine Suns, but it is also more eclectic sonically than the majority of the music Plex has done with Black Box, hence the infusion of the two worlds to create "Black Suns". Plex feels that "Black Suns" may be his best work to date, as he was quoted saying... "The passionate delivery, melodies and concepts brought by The Hunchpunch Champ, mixed with the smooth guitars and down tempo beats provided by Charlie P meshed together to create a sound that I can honestly say has become my most proud moment in my musical career as an artist..." Being that this is Plex's 7th studio release (5 albums and 2 EPs), the afore quoted statement is an extremely bold claim. Especially considering the "Black Suns" EP is only 6 songs (21 minutes of music), so press play and you be the judge of where this ranks among the musical catalog of Plex Long.
