Her new, soon to be released album, entitled (8)IGHT, boasts a fresh, energetic and soulful sound, something that has been described as “the future of soul”. Traditionally, Jully is from the school of R&B, with influences like Lauren Hill & Tina Turner, she has combined these sounds with the super futuristic beats and rhythms provided by the album’s sole producer YoungPete Alexander and the funky creative writing and arrangement skills of Luther Brown.
