Netzer is a Messianic Jewish (Jews that believe in Jesus, Hebrew name Yeshua) rock band out of San Diego. The album Steadfast deals with staying strong in what you believe in, referring both to faith a challenge that was met as the band went through several lineup changes. The album is more musically diverse then their previous recordings, with hard rock tracks such as Steadfast and Mental Toxins, to mainstream rock in Green Lights Forever and Kings of Earth. There is also reggae in Shabbat M'nucha and techno is Shabbat Shalom, Netzer's version of a traditional Jewish song wishing you a "peaceful sabbath." Besides our lead singer Alan, both David and Mark add their vocals as well as two guest vocalists. The bonus track has David playing clarinet in an instrumental jam. This album is the first release from David's independent record label, Shofar Records. The members have graduated from UCSD, a San Diego college.
