Having produced classics for some of the grime scene's biggest artists over the past few years, North London producer J Beatz has rounded up a bag of the hottest names for ‘8 Bar Mucktion’. The 19 year old’s debut single is to be released through his own imprint ‘Crown Jules’ and contains remixes from established producers Dullah Beatz (Kill Comfirmed) and Darq E Freaker (Tempa T – ‘Next Hype’), as well as the instrumental and acapella . The energetic and furious 8-bar relay features twelve highly rated MCs and fuses the old school grime classic ‘Pulse Y’ by Musical Mob with his trade-mark sound from ‘Pulse Tazer’ - which received airplay from DJs Logan Sama (Kiss 100), DJ Q (BBC 1xtra) and Spyro and Vectra (Rinse FM). The featured vocals on ‘8 Bar Mucktion’ surpasses that of most producers’ mixtapes; with contributions from MCs he’s previously worked with (9 Milli Major, Big H, Sharky Major, M.I.K, Jammin, Rival) as well as future collaboration such as Kwam, Big Narstie, Typah, Dimples and Canada’s Tre Mission.
