Andre Lindsey and the Daniel Project answer this call on their sophomore CD, “Praise Frequency.” This sophomore CD features a mixture of gospel that fuses many genres of music. It is sure to excite the palates of music lovers of all ages and from those that love traditional gospel as well as contemporary. The signature single “Tell Somebody” flows with riveting traditional beats reminiscent of the gospel quartet generation. It bridges the generational gap and ushers in the new millennium feel to get the young folks up and encourage them to see that with Jesus Christ there is nothing you cannot go to Him about. Additional songs on “Praise Frequency” include “Let’s Praise Him”, the first single – a message of declaration and confidence proclaiming no matter what the enemy brings your way, we are always admonished to praise God. “Cast Your Cares” and “They That Wait” are songs of encouragement, hope and restoration, while “We Shall Ascend” tells of the eternal home for believers. “Overflow” is a simple song in which Lindsey just asks God to use him as He pleases, a vessel of manifestation. The anchor of the CD is “Lord I Lift My Hands,” a song of encourage to let believers know that when dark times come to just lift your hands to God and He will take care of the rest. Andre Lindsey, a native of Dallas, TX, like many other gospel artists displayed his love and creativity for music at an early age. Lindsey, in addition to leading the group The Daniel Project, is the Minister of Music at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas. His love for the gospel has propelled him into many arenas and has earned him numerous awards and recognition for his talent. Some of those honors include DFW Gospel Announcers Guild New Artist of the Year, Best Song Writer from Texas, Gospel Excellence Awards and a “Homegrown Gospel Award” nomination for two consecutive years, 2008 and 2009. He takes none of the credit and attributes all of his success to his love and devotion to God. Lindsey and The Daniel Project have shared the stage with many nationally known gospel music artists such as: Trinitee 5:7, Fred Hammond, Keith Pringle, Chester D.T.
