简介
Soulful, powerful, honest hip hop that feels like a breath of fresh air. Creative without being wierd. Mind blowing flow and wordplay that'll impress an emcee and the average person with the same line. The beats will make you fall in love with hip hop again, and will have your head bouncing til your neck hurts. From crazy real life stories to concept songs to straight up lyrical assassinship, Psychological Warfare is a must have for any hip hop fan. Professionally mixed and mastered so it bangs. Gitcha neck right. BIO: What's good, lets cut out this third person bullshit that everyone writes in their bio (I'm guilty of it too). I'm a Winston Salem NC representative. I moved to Greenville to attend ECU in 2002 to study art and party, but I ended up studying journalism/production and partying instead. My life has been a crazy ride and I chronicle it in my music. The son of a jazz trumpet player/nuclear physicist, I grew up in a musical household. I always liked hip hop but once I discovered underground hip hop through skate videos... sh*t was on. I was hooked. Discovering that rapping felt natural in 97, I began to really take it seriously in 2000. By 02 everybody was trying to rap because of the damn Eminem movie. Me and Imagery dropped an EP that year over some gross beats that were given to us for free. It was recorded in a kitchen and the quality was sh*t, but I was buggin just to have my own original songs. I started makin beats in 2004 and we dropped an album called Thoughts. I love it but I didnt have the funds to really release it. We had a manager paying for the project, but my gut instinct told me to drop him and I'm glad we did. Too many snakes in the grass in this business. I had to break off and do a solo album because I now live 3 hours away from Imagery. The result: Psychological Warfare. I put a lot of my time, thought, and soul into my music and I love what it’s become. I hope you like it as much as I do. Thanks to everybody that took the time to tell me they like my music, and thanks to everybody out there making great hip hop. We’ve got a great scene goin on here in NC, and its only the beginning. So before you run off yellin that hip hop is dead, turn off the radio and give us independent artists a chance. NC stand up. peace.
